Design Philosophy...

Less is definitely more.
Keeping all aspects of the design to a minimum
does add to the aesthetic sum.


Picking endemic over the imported,
we transform what is common--and often
disregarded by many--into a subject of admiration
in the garden. So the lowly taro plant (alocasia),
that abundantly grows unnoticed in fields all over
our sunkissed islands, becomes the focal point
in some of the beautiful gardens we have created.


As the leaves of the taro sway
in the gentle midday wind, we watch and bask
in the pleasure of our creative philosophies
being humbly affirmed.
